The New York Women’s Foundation in 2006. Under her leadership, The New York Women’s Foundation has become the top public women’s foundation in the U.S., investing in bold, community-led organizations and leaders striving for economic security, safety, and health. Ms. Oliveira serves as a Commissioner of the NYC Commission on Human Rights and is a member of the Independent Commission on the New York City Criminal Justice and Incarceration Reform that is working toward closing the jail complex on Rikers Island.
