Sandra Otero obtained her JD from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law, her MA from New York University Graduate School of Education, and her BFA from New York University School of Performing Arts. She practiced Real Estate Law with the private sector, at the firms of Dreyer and Traub and Fogelson, Fogelson, and Babbitt before joining the Law Department of The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in 1986. She has over 20 years of experience with the Port Authority practicing real estate, finance and public securities, corporate governance, taxation, federal aid, and procurement. She has taught the Real Estate Salesperson class at New York University’s Real Estate Institute, and as a law student, she worked for the New York State Attorney General Real Estate Division, and the United States Judge Advocate General at Fort Dix.
