The Puerto Rican Bar Association Congratulates Senator Luis R. Sepúlveda on a
Historic Appointment as Chair of the New York State Senate Judiciary Committee
The Puerto Rican Bar Association proudly congratulates Senator Luis R. Sepúlveda on
his historic appointment as Chair of the New York State Senate Judiciary Committee,
marking the first time a Latino has been selected to lead this critically important
committee in New York State.
Throughout his tenure as a State Senator, Senator Sepúlveda has demonstrated steadfast
leadership, a deep understanding of the law, and an unwavering commitment to justice,
equity, and access for all New Yorkers. His legislative record reflects meaningful
milestones in judicial administration, civil rights, and the protection of vulnerable
communities, underscoring his readiness to guide the Judiciary Committee with integrity
