Este honor celebra su legado perdurable y sus contribuciones al servicio p\u00fablico, al Colegio de Abogados de Puerto Rico y a la comunidad legal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><em>Premio al Servicio P\u00fablico Carol Robles-Rom\u00e1n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Carol Robles-Rom\u00e1n fue una pionera, una defensora de la justicia y un modelo a seguir para innumerables profesionales del derecho. Su dedicaci\u00f3n a la igualdad, a los derechos de las mujeres y de los latinos y al servicio p\u00fablico ha dejado una huella indeleble en nuestra sociedad. Como servidora p\u00fablica dedicada y defensora de los derechos civiles que ayud\u00f3 a que los tribunales de Nueva York fueran m\u00e1s accesibles, Carol ejemplific\u00f3 los valores que la PRBA aprecia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">El Premio Carol Robles-Rom\u00e1n al Servicio P\u00fablico se entregar\u00e1 anualmente en la Gala del Fondo de Becas de la PRBA. Este premio reconoce a las personas que han demostrado un compromiso excepcional con el servicio p\u00fablico y han hecho contribuciones significativas al avance de la profesi\u00f3n legal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Tambi\u00e9n nos complace anunciar que&nbsp;<strong>Lisa Rivera, Presidenta y Directora General del Grupo de Asistencia Jur\u00eddica de Nueva York (NYLAG)<\/strong>ser\u00e1 la primera galardonada con el Premio Carol Robles-Rom\u00e1n al Servicio P\u00fablico.
