Both Judge Casas and Judge Rodriguez are former felony prosecutors, bringing to the bench extensive courtroom experience, sound judgment, and a demonstrated commitment to public safety and due process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PRBA has consistently emphasized that a judiciary reflective of New York\u2019s communities is not aspirational\u2014it is operationally necessary.
