LAWbound is part of LatinoJustice PRLDEF’s Cesar A. Perales (CAP) Leadership Institute that works to increase the Latinx and underrepresented pipeline to law school. The LAWbound program provides targeted services during a week-long course that address some of the most common barriers to admission to law school.
A LAWbound scholar can be a current college student or recent college graduate who has not yet applied to law school. Program participants will receive reading materials to prepare for the weeklong course.
Program Eligibility Requirements:
- Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a legal education
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate program or recent graduate, pre-law
- Demonstrate strong academic potential
Applicants must be able to attend the full winter prep program that takes place in January 8 – January 12, 2024 with daily programming from 12:00 – 5:00pm ET.
Please note that you will be asked to submit a statement of interest, resume, and recommendation letter.
Please note the winter program will be hybrid, strongly encouraging local participants to join in person.
